Angie is also the mother of six children, two with autism spectrum disorder and 3 with ADHD and executive functioning difficulties. Her perspective on treatment comes from both a professional and personal view with functional communication always being the forefront of importance. Angie is not only there for providing direct instruction for your child’s needs, but also to support families in overcoming challenges and supporting the improvement of communication between children and their families.

About Virtual Therapy

The simple answer is yes! Telehealth sessions are a wonderful alternative for most individuals. No therapy is a perfect fit for all students; however, you would be greatly surprised the improvements we have seen using a variety of strategies since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. It shifted the way we serve our students but most importantly, it has allowed us to engage parents and caregivers in therapy like never before. Our children are most like themselves and most comfortable in their own home! Using virtual therapy services allows for your child to feel safe and have parent and caregiver support; but it also allows for our SLP’s to teach families how to best support their children in the home and other environments between sessions! The transformation we have witnessed has been phenomenal and even if you don’t think your child would be able to do it-they will surprise you! This team approach to teaching speech and language skills has truly improved our client’s skills tremendously and allows everyone to learn the skills to support their child and further their successes!

“..the progress we have seen in both has been nothing short of AMAZING..”
